COVID-related hospitalizations falling in Idaho

BOISE, Idaho The number of new daily COVID-19 cases has fallen from an average high of just under 1,500 in mid-December to just under 600 now in late January. Along with that, the number of people hospitalized with COVID-related illness has dropped substantially.
According to the state of Idaho, Dec. 1 saw the highest number of people hospitalized at 496, with 105 COVID-19 patients in the ICU. In comparison, 241 people were in the hospital being treated for COVID, with 64 in the ICU, by Jan. 25.

The concert that was filmed at the Narrows Center for the Arts a few weeks ago will be airing in a prime time slot on Saturday night on the CW Network in Providence.
Coogan brought the “America’s Got Talent” finalists to the city last December in collaboration with the Narrows Center for the Arts for a holiday concert in lieu of an inaugural event. That was concert was so popular with attendees, Coogan said he wanted to repeat it again this year.

BOISE, Idaho Major news this past week in the fight against COVID-19 as the first Americans and Idahoans outside of clinical trials started receiving the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine. Many people are calling it the beginning of the end of the pandemic and the light at the end of the tunnel.
The COVID-19 vaccination process started in Idaho on Monday, Dec. 14 when Saint Alphonsus began vaccinating its frontline employees.
