Rose Cherami was an unfortunate woman who had turned to prostitution and drug running to support herself. On Nov. 20, 1963, she was struck by a car in Louisiana. During her hospital stay, she told Police Lt. Francis Fruge and some nurses that President John F. Kennedy was going to be assassinated. Rose was one of Jack Ruby’s strippers and claimed that Ruby and Lee Harvey Oswald were more than close friends, laughing and calling them “bed mates” who’d been “shacking up for years.” That is interesting, as David Ferrie, Clay Shaw, Raymond Broshears, and Ruby were all known to have had homosexual proclivities, though several JFK researchers vehemently dispute the fact that Oswald himself did.
OK, back to Charles Krop, who comes forward in March 1967 when he calls Garrison s office with some important information:
Was Krop trying to be helpful? Did he have some sort of urge to be the center of attention? Or did he realize that the only way to get Garrison s attention was to add Clay Shaw and David Ferrie into the mix? And now claiming he had audio tapes?
A few weeks later, Sgt. Duffy, after trying several times, got a hold of Krop to inquire further about the tapes:
Garrison s notation refers back to the fag ball in 1962 in which 96 people were arrested (one person must have been a Carlos Rodriguez, which is probably a fairly common name in the Latin community).

The Search for Clay Bertrand From:
Clay Bertrand supposedly called lawyer Dean Andrews, who was in the hospital with double pneumonia, on November 23, 1963 and asked if he would go to Dallas to represent Lee Harvey Oswald. In 1966, Jim Garrison decided that Clay Shaw was the elusive Clay Bertrand. What few people realize is that the FBI, the Secret Service, and the New Orleans Police Department made a concerted effort to find Clay Bertrand in 1963 with no luck.
