Clay Bertrand supposedly called lawyer Dean Andrews, who was in the hospital with double pneumonia, on November 23, 1963 and asked if he would go to Dallas to represent Lee Harvey Oswald. In 1966, Jim Garrison decided that Clay Shaw was the elusive Clay Bertrand. What few people realize is that the FBI, the Secret Service, and the New Orleans Police Department made a concerted effort to find Clay Bertrand in 1963 with no luck. Paden City Council Holds Special Meeting
By Rick Loy - Staff Writer | Mar 17, 2021 The Paden City Common Council held a special meeting on Monday March 8, 2021.
The Council met to discuss several issues that were unresolved at the regular monthly meeting.
Among the items discussed were funding for the park and pool, discussion of the building at the corner of Main St and South 2nd Ave, appointment of Ballot Commissioners and reconnect fees.
The special meeting was called to address concerns shared at the regular council meeting on March 1, 2021. During the March 1st meeting, Councilwoman Tonya Schuller presented council with background information on the pool and needed repairs to open successfully this summer.
