An apparently abducted man was found dead in Karachi’s Orangi Town neighbourhood, while a woman and a minor girl were wounded in separate incidents of firing in the city on Sunday.
According to details, the body of a man was found in the bushes in Hawa Goth of Orangi Town. After receiving information about the body, the Iqbal Market police and rescuers arrived on the scene and took it to the Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH).
Police said the body was a day old, and the victim had been shot once, adding that the CNIC found in the victim’s pocket identified him as 27-year-old Akhtar, son of Hayat Khan. They said the motive behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
Three people were wounded in separate incidents of firing on Saturday.According to the Saeedabad police, a man was injured in a firing incident in Baldia Town’s Sector 9A. Rescuers transported.
