On Tuesday, the American Kennel Club announced that French bulldogs are continuing to “skyrocket in popularity” among U.S. pet owners, confirming that the dog is now recognized as the second-most popular purebred in America, just behind the Labrador retriever.
The American Kennel Club today announced its annual list of the most popular AKC-recognized breeds, and the Frenchie was No. 1 in L.A. – followed by the bulldog, Labrador retriever, German shepherd and golden retriever.
