Three persons out of the eight booked for attack on three medical staff, including two doctors of the Surat Municipal Corporation (SMC), were detained by the police. They were booked for rioting, assault, damage to public property and under Gujarat Medicare Service Persons and Medicare Service Institutions (Prevention of Violence and Damage or Loss of Property) Act, 2012.
