(WTOC) - A new program in the Lowcountry will teach students two languages at one time. All while learning their normal curriculum. JASPER COUNTY TRAFFIC CRASH

May 8, 2021 6:48 AM (EFFINGHAM) The investigation continues into a two vehicle traffic crash that occurred at 7:18 yesterday (Friday) morning in Jasper County, along Illinois Route 130, north of West Liberty, at the intersection with County Road 330N. The Illinois State Police report 48 year old Kathy J. Angle from Newton was traveling south on Route 130, in an empty Jasper County School District school bus, when she attempted to turn right onto the county road, her bus was rear ended by a southbound box truck, driven by 62 year old Roger T. Heath from Olney. While Angle was airlifted by emergency helicopter to an area hospital with serious injuries, Heath was transported by ambulance to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. Heath was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. There were no students on the school bus at the time of the traffic crash. Jasper County emergency personnel assisted the State Police at the crash site.
