A group of parents is calling on Indianapolis Public Schools to set bolder goals for students of color and move more quickly on promises to make the state’s largest school district a more equitable place for all kids to learn.
Last summer, the IPS board of trustees adopted a new racial equity policy and named the ways in which the district had failed its Black and brown students in the past. It promised to do better, to be better moving forward.

It’s known to be haunted and some even believe that there are devil worshipers that use the school to summon Satan. YIKES. That sounds extreme. It’s even said to have a water tower on the property and legend has it that if you climb to the top and look inside, you’ll see your reflection as the way you will look on the day you will die. Talk about scary. I just don’t think I would have the guts to do it.
