Since 1959 people have been taking part in a competition to see how quickly they can achieve this - and get their name into the Guinness Book of World Records. The Tube Challenge has had 35 participants over the years, and as of 2016 Andi James, from Finland, and Steve Wilson, from the UK, are the record holders. The pair managed to travel across all 264 stations in 15 hours, 45 minutes and 38 seconds on May 21, 2015.

With movie theaters starting to reopen in Iran amid the novel coronavirus pandemic and just ahead of the country s New Year (Nowruz), Ahari s debut feature is set for a wide theatrical release in the country on Feb. 24 through Mammoth Pictures and Ayat Film Company. The film originally attained a license for theatrical release last July. IFC Midnight oversaw the film s successful North American release in January.

George Hurst came to Pontiac in hopes of creating a performance package for the Firebird. Pontiac didn’t bite, but General Motors thought it might be able to apply Hurst’s ideas to Oldsmobile, creating an appeal to younger buyers. The outcome was the 1968 Hurst/Olds, which came with the monster 455 Big Block, the largest engine available in the A-body platform. GM had banned use of any engine in excess of 400 cubic inches in A-body cars, but Oldsmobile managed to skirt the rule by doing final assembly and modification off-site. Despite limited production, Oldsmobile was flooded with orders.
