Everything you need to know about Doireann Garrihy s new Breakfast Show co-hosts Irish Mirror 5 days ago Fran Winston Fans of the RTÉ 2FM Breakfast Show were delighted to learn today that Doireann Garrihy was getting not one but two new hosts following the departure of Eoghan McDermott. Former rugby player Donncha O’Callaghan and Instagram comedian Carl Mullan will join Doireann on air for the three hour show every weekday from March 31st. In an official press release RTÉ said: “Listeners can be guaranteed lots of laughs, plenty of giveaways as the three co-hosts conspire to get each day off to a bright and sunny start for listeners.”

LCETB targets marginalised youths for creative programmes

Limerick s Live 95 Search By Live95 News Team Credit - Google Maps Limerick and Clare ETB s Local Creative Youth Partnership has launched its first Strategic Plan - one of only three national pilot programmes. The plan identifies specific groups of young people to be prioritised in the establishment of creative programmes across Limerick and Clare.  This includes young people living in communities of socio-economic disadvantage, those living with a disability, migrant young people and those living in remote, rural communities, with immediate focus on communities in the Loop Head Peninsula, West Limerick and Direct Provision centres. Limerick Youth Service, Clare Youth Service, Foróige, scouting groups and community and family resource centres are key collaborators to the project, as are Arts and cultural bodies across both counties.

Efforts to secure school places for all commended April 30, 2021 EFFORTS by patrons to ensure a place at second level is made available to all pupils in Ennis and feeder communities have been commended. Deputy Joe Carey praised the “proactive action” of the patrons of Ennis post-primary schools in helping to alleviate parents and children’s stress about the issue. A statement issued by George O’Callaghan, CEO Limerick and Clare Education and Training Board, (LCETB) has said that a virtual meeting of the schools concerned took place recently. The statement was issued on behalf of the school patrons. “The meeting was to review progress on the issue of pupils without school places for the forthcoming academic year at post-primary in Ennis and establish a unified process to address the problem for the school year 2022/2023 and in forthcoming years,” the statement read.
