Hospital admissions for coronavirus in London and the South-East have fallen for the first time in a month amid hopes that Britain is beginning to move past the peak of the current wave.
The most recent figures show that, on Sunday, rolling seven-day admissions for London had dropped by 131 cases to 5,919 – the first decrease recorded since December 2.
Sadiq Khan today lamented a heartbreaking coronavirus milestone as it was confirmed more than 10,000 Londoners have fallen victim to the virus.
The latest data from Public Health England shows a total of 10,353 people in London have died within 28 days of a positive Covid-19 test.
A further 7,606 people across the capital are currently in hospital with the disease - 35 per cent higher than the busiest day of the pandemic in the spring.
It comes as Britain today recorded its deadliest day since the pandemic began, with another 1,564 victims confirmed over the past 24 hours. More than 230 of these were in London.
The Mayor of London said the city s latest milestone is heartbreaking, adding: This epidemic is far worse than it was in spring.
The Roxborough Manayunk Wissahickon Historical Society recently christened their new website to begin to allow the community digital access to their Archives.Â
Georgie Gould, the RMWHS Archivist and birth mother of the interactive site, plans to continue to expand its offerings and augment the Archives, which are housed in the Roxborough Library.

Because of the city s COVID restrictions, the public s access to the Library has been curtailed.
According to Gould, It is my hope that members, neighbors, researchers, and other visitors will be able to discover and explore our area s history and the Archive treasures from wherever they may be via laptop, phone, tablet, etc.
