These Eight Alabama Athletes Dominated At State
The Alabama State Track and Field Championships were straight up fire.
Across seven classifications and two event sites, athletes made huge marks on the state-scene, leaving their high school careers with one final memory.
It was pretty obvious to see, however, that some athletes were more dominant than others.
We ve examined and reviewed performances from eight athletes who absolutely steamrolled through the competition over the weekend in Alabama, earning distinctions as the top athletes in the state.

The Florida Gators have expanded their defensive backs board a lot since the Gators added both Wesley McGriff and Jules Montinar to the staff.
One new name to the board is Auburn cornerback commit Jarell Stinson (5-10, 160, Opelika, AL. High) who had a virtual visit with the staff last week.
“It went pretty well, I learned a lot of new stuff that I didn’t know about,” Stinson said of his virtual visit with Florida last week. “Coach [Nick] Savage, Dan Mullen, the director of recruiting, Crime Dog [Wesley McGriff], Coach Jules [Montinar], and a few other coaches.”
Stinson has never been on campus in Gainesville so last week was the first chance for him to see what the campus is like and what Florida has to offer off the field.
