UConn coach Dan Hurley has his own Big East Player of the Year candidate in sophomore guard James Bouknight, but he may have revealed his own vote for the honor during a Zoom call with reporters on Saturday.
When asked by NJ Advance Media what he anticipated in Wednesday’s titanic Big East game at Seton Hall, Hurley said, “We know how good those guys are,” adding that the Pirates had the “Player of the Year.”
