The Dallas Cowboys, Cleveland Browns and Miami Dolphins are among the teams hoping to win their way into the playoffs on the final weekend of the NFL s regular season Sunday. All three enter their games with key players on offense battling injuries.
Dallas running back Ezekiel Elliott ran for 105 yards last weekend and is confident he ll be ready to face the New York Giants with the NFC East title still up for grabs. Miami wide receiver DeVante Parker is nursing a hamstring injury with a huge game looming against the Buffalo Bills. And Cleveland wide receiver Jarvis Landry is hoping to be activated from the reserve/COVID-19 list in time for Sunday s game against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The team cited a report by ESPN and WBAL Radio s Jamison Hensley, Koch produced an inconclusive COVID-19 test.If Koch cannot play in Sunday s game in Cincinnati, it would snap his 15-year streak of consecutive games played. Koch has not missed a game since entering the league in 2006.Koch is the first Ravens player placed on the Reserve/COVID-19 list since the team s outbreak involving 23 players earlier in the month.

ESPN s Jamison Hensley, a WBAL NewsRadio 1090 and FM 101.5 contributor, reports Koch had an inconclusive coronavirus test and did not practice Wednesday.

Kicker Justin Tucker could fill in for Koch on punts, Hensley notes. However, Koch also holds for Tucker on extra points and field goals so the Ravens would need to tap a replacement if Koch isn t available for Sunday s game against the Cincinnati Bengals.

This was going to be the No. 1 issue before Dwayne Haskins Jr. was released, so his ouster doesn t change anything. Washington has had 30 players start at quarterback since the 1993 season, and it s the No. 1 reason the franchise can t win consistently. This division is highly winnable; the right quarterback would put Washington in a great position. Alex Smith will be 37 next season, and while he s a terrific story, it s hard to say he can still be an effective starter for 16 games. Washington must explore all avenues trades, a free-agent signing or the draft. It s probably ideal to pair a midround pick with a veteran that will give the team someone who can take advantage of a top defense and a young player to groom.
