Marblehead boys’ lacrosse coach John Wilkens’ team enjoyed a sensational 2019 season. They were 16-4 overall, and 10-0 in the Northeastern Conference, before losing a close encounter to Billerica, 15-13 in a North semifinal game.
The Magicians were looking forward to another fine season in 2020 until COVID-19 shut everything down. But for those returning players from the 2019 squad on this year’s team, they are on a mission to resume their extraordinary winning ways.
