Trial for man accused of Barton knife threats

Oxford Crown Court A man allegedly involved in a knife brawl in which a teen was injured will stand trial in November. Andee Morton, 49, is accused of threatening another with a blade in Underhill Circus, Barton, on June 2. His arrested followed a fight said by police to have involved a number of men. A 19-year-old man suffered injuries to his thumb and arm. He was taken to John Radcliffe Hospital but was later discharged. Appearing before Oxford Crown Court on Thursday, Morton, of Westlands Drive, Oxford, pleaded not guilty to affray, threatening another with a blade and having a bladed article.
