Nater says there are both good and bad things about the new federal budget SHARE ON: Perth-Wellington MP John Nater says the 2021 federal budget has some good stuff and some bad stuff. Nater points to the $500 million Tourism Relief Fund, announced as part of Monday’s $101.4 billion budget, as being one of the good things that supports the hospitality and tourism sector which is so important to our area. However, he says he has some challenges when it comes to a lack of funding for things like rural infrastructure and agriculture and he says it remains to be seen what’s willing to be accepted in terms of amendments his Conservative party will ask for.
