Sarah Franklin acknowledges that her limited exposure to broadcasting the news while in university has helped in the production of a series of podcasts produced in Perth County.
Part of the economic development/communications team at the county, Franklin completed 18 different podcasts during the inaugural season of Perth County Podcast, generally one per week, that began during the beginning of the pandemic primarily because there was so much information to distribute. This proved to be a rather unique and different avenue in which to do it, she noted, saying the team did some brainstorming and came up with the idea.
