According to Cloudian’s
2021 Ransomware Victims Report, traditional ransomware defences are weakening, and despite having IT staff trained in anti-phishing and organisations setting formidable security, hackers were still able to infiltrate their systems.
2021 Ransomware Victims Report, an independent survey which recorded ransomware attacks among organisations between 2019 and 2021.
The survey, based on 200 IT decision makers, found that during the time of a ransomware attack, traditional defences failed to thwart threats. It discovered that 54% of victims were trained in anti-phishing, and 49% had installed perimeter defences.
