North West scouts take annual scavenger hunt online

Scouts from the North West will be organising an online scavenger hunt to bring together those from across the region and help raise money for a disaster relief charity. Usually, the hunt takes place around Liverpool city centre but this year, due to coronavirus restrictions, the scouts have used their initiative to create an online version of the challenge. The challenge aims to raise money for ShelterBox, which helps to send equipment to those affected in disaster areas. John Cadman from Merseyside Scouts said: “Not only is ShelterBox a very worthy cause, but it also gels with the scouting ethos of helping others.
