When the northern beaches hamlet of Coasters Retreat went into lockdown on December 20, the residents were already no strangers to a life of isolation.
The suburb, across the water from Palm Beach with which it shares a postcode, comprises 53 houses nestled among the dense bushland of Ku-ring-gai Chase national park. It doesn’t have a road in or out, nor does it have a supermarket. The route to the rest of the world is on a ferry to Palm Beach.
The physical isolation has provided a safe haven for its residents most of whom are retirees from the Avalon COVID-19 outbreak. But it has also meant residents must regularly leave their relative safety to get supplies.
Knight Rider Season 4 Episodes
Knight Rider season 4, the final season of the show, saw three big developments. The first was the inclusion of Peter Parros as Reginald Cornelius III, RC3, a former street vigilante in Chicago who, after the events of the season 4 opener “Knight of the Juggernaut,” ends up becoming a part of the Foundation for Law and Government (he drives the semi-truck, he works as an assistant to both Bonnie and Michael). The second is the development of “Super Pursuit Mode” for KITT, a thing where KITT’s body transforms after Michael pushes a button and KITT can go faster than ever before (RC3 actually helps make this happen). I always thought Super Pursuit Mode was cool. I still don’t understand how the transformation actually makes KITT goes faster but, again, the sequence where we see KITT transform is still fun and cool to this day. And third, along with Super Pursuit Mode, KITT was outfitted with a “convertible” mode. Because who doesn’t wan
The third season of
Knight Rider brings back Patricia McPherson as Bonnie, who was replaced in season 2 by Rebecca Holden, who played scientist and KITT mechanic/handler April. We’re never given an explanation as to why April left the Foundation for Law and Government, but we do find out, in the two-part season opener
Knight of the Drones, that Bonnie originally left FLAG to do research and continue her education (she was also apparently tired of the endless crime fighting that FLAG engaged in). I definitely prefer Bonnie over April (Rebecca Holden is a fine actress and all, but she never really fit in with Hasselhoff’s Michael Knight and Edward Mulhare’s Devon Miles and her presence changed the tone of the show in the second season), but I would have liked some sort of explanation as to why April was suddenly gone. I mean, who took care of KITT between April leaving and Bonnie returning? Was it a series of faceless/nameless FLAG technicians?

Father Edward Flanagan, founder of Boys Town, is probably the most widely known of Omahaâs historical figures. He and his creation on West Dodge Road are recognized internationally.
A factor that may be underrated in the growth and good fortunes of his home for boys is ⦠Entertainment!
It wasnât long after the saintly Father moved the home out to âOverlook Farmâ in 1921 that he started inviting influential members of the public to visit. The boys guided the visitors on tours while others sang and played their second-hand instruments during lunch.
Soon Father Flanagan was organizing a traveling show with the most talented boys. For transport he bought two horse-drawn circus wagons and emblazoned them in red and gold with the words, âFATHER FLANAGANâS BOYSâ SHOWS â WORLDâS GREATEST JUVENILE ACTORS.â
