Refurbished Diamonds offered for Fleet Renewal 14 April 2021
Sydney-based Utility Air has secured several Diamond aircraft that will be refurbished in Canada before being offered to Australian training organisations.
The aircraft, five DA20s and eight DA42 twins, will be refurbished at the Diamond Aircraft factory under the Certified Pre-owned program (CPO) with new engines, propellers, interiors and paintwork as well as having all lifed components zeroed.
Utility Air will then offer them for lease or sale to Australian flying schools as an option for stalled fleet renewal programs.

Sydney company Utility Air has taken on the distributorship for Diamond Aircraft spares in Australia and New Zealand, it was announced last week.
Utility Air, which is the Diamond sales agent for the two countries, plans to stock around 18,000 items in their Sydney warehouse, cutting down service times for Diamond aircraft and supporting sales in the region, Diamond Aircraft are the best GA Aircraft in the world” said Utility Air managing director, Stephen Pembro. “Now, with the introduction of our facility in Sydney, we will be able to provide our owner base with faster access to parts and a large stock holding in the country.
