HOUSTON – La congresista demócrata de Houston Sheila Jackson Lee fue arrestada este jueves en Washington durante una marcha a favor de los derechos de los votantes.

La demócrata se refirió a su arresto en su cuenta de Twitter: “Nunca voy a dejar de pelear por los derechos de los votantes”, dijo.
Jackson Lee instó al senado de Estados Unidos a que considere el proyecto de ley que blinda los derechos de los votantes.
Esta medida ha sido ampliamente criticada por la banca republicana e impulsada, mayoritariamente, por los demócratas. A pesar de ello, no cuenta con los votos suficientes para ser aprobada en el Senado.

A late inning rally fell short for the Red Wings who lost, 5-3, to the Lehigh Valley IronPigs Wednesday night at Frontier Field.
The IronPigs grabbed the early 5-0 lead after Rodolfo Duran’s three-run homer in the fourth inning.
The Wings got on the board in the sixth inning courtesy of a Daniel Palka RBI single and a Jakson Reetz sac fly.

The Red Wings slugged four home runs Sunday afternoon en route to a 7-4 win over the Scranton/WB RailRiders in the series finale from PNC Field.
