(AP) Zion Williams registered 12 points, seven rebounds and five steals as Kansas City narrowly defeated North Dakota State 49-47 on Saturday night. Arkel Lamar had 11 points, nine rebounds and four blocks for Kansas City (7-10, 3-5 Summit League). Jacob Johnson added 10 points. Franck Kamgain had six assists. North Dakota State scored 20 second-half points, a season low for the team. Tyree Eady had 14 points for the Bison (10-8, 10-3). Jaxon Knotek added 11 points. Rocky Kreuser had 10 points and seven rebounds. Sam Griesel had a career-high 14 rebounds plus six points.

Bison Grind Out 71-67 Win at Kansas City

(NDSU Athletics) – The North Dakota State men’s basketball team posted a 71-67 road victory over Kansas City on Friday evening, improving to 8-1 in Summit League play. Sam Griesel led the Bison with 15 points, and Tyree Eady added 14. The Bison made 26-of-33 at the free throw line (79 percent) in the game and shot 52.5 percent from the field. NDSU freshman Dezmond McKinney scored a season-high 10 points, playing near his hometown of Raytown, Mo. Jarius Cook also scored 10 for the Bison, and Rocky Kreuser and Jaxon Knotek both finished with nine. With 10 rebounds in the game, Kreuser became the 31st player in NDSU history to surpass 500 career rebounds. He needs eight points to reach 1,000 for his career.

(AP) Rocky Kreuser had 17 points to lead five North Dakota State players in double figures as the Bison easily defeated Denver 84-58 on Saturday night.Tyree Eady added 15 points for the Bison. Jarius Cook chipped in 14, Jaxon Knotek scored 12 and Grant Nelson had 11. Knotek also had six rebounds.North Dakota State (9-7, 7-1 Summit League) dominated the first half and led 46-20 at the break. Both teams set season records for scoring in the first half. Jan 24, 2021 4:08 AM FARGO, N.D. – (NDSU Athletics) The North Dakota State men’s basketball team rode hot shooting and stingy defense to an 84-58 rout of Denver on Saturday night inside the Scheels Center. The Bison improved to 7-1 in Summit League play. NDSU led from start to finish, going up 10-2 in the first five minutes of the game and leading 46-20 by halftime. The Bison once again put together a balanced scoring attack, with five players in double figures. Senior forward  Rocky Kreuser finished with 17 points to lead all players, and junior  Tyree Eady added 15 points on 6-of-7 shooting.
