A 9-year-old boy from Norden has raised over £3,000 for the Soldiers, Sailors, Airmen, and Families Association (SSAFA) charity after challenging himself to 200 pogo-stick jumps a day throughout the month of March.
Jack Chadwick wanted to take on the pogo-stick challenge and raise funds for SSAFA - the UK s oldest national tri-service military charity offering lifelong support to anyone who is currently serving or has served - in memory of family friend Marisa Tomkins, who passed away in February at the age of 63.

Since November 2018, Phillips has been Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s senior policy advisor for energy and the environment, overseeing 12 state agencies and authorities and implementing the administration’s policy initiatives. She has more than a decade of experience in conservation, serving in state government roles in New York and with a private organization in Wisconsin. At the Adirondack Council, she will fill a leadership void left by the departure of Deputy Director Raul “Rocci” Aguirre, who had served a decade as the Council’s conservation director. He is the new executive director of Scenic Hudson in Poughkeepsie.
