The Big Worcester Sleep Out will be returning this autumn. After being cancelled last year the project, which aims to raise funds and awareness for homelessness in Worcestershire, is back with bigger targets than ever before. The event will take place on October 14 at the Sixways Stadium and all money raised will go towards three local charities, St Paul’s Hostel, Warriors Community Foundation, and Maggs Day Centre. Speaking at the launch of last year’s cancelled event Warriors lock Justin Clegg said: “Homelessness is such an important cause. There are so many people struggling in Worcester and anything we can do to raise awareness and money for the three charities can only help improve conditions for them.”
