In the afternoon of February 17, RCMP were dispatched to the Sunshine Inn to a report of two unwelcome guests who were visiting with an individual presently on Covid-19 quarantine. Officers advised the two men that they were unwelcome at the location and must leave.
The men then became combative with police, lifting a chair and attempting to strike the officer with it, shouting expletives and threatening to kill the officers on scene.
The men were arrested for Assault with a Weapon, Resisting Arrest and Uttering Threats and were later released by Police Undertaking to address the matter in court.

We wrap up our Journeys tribute to the All Native Basketball Tournament by hanging out with 2 time Women’s MVP with the Haisla nation, Adelia Paul.
The Haisla women’s team has dominated and won the tournament for the past three years in a row, and in our interview, we’ll get to hear about what it felt like to be a part of that amazing achievement, as well as what Adelia’s favourite moments were, both on and off-court.
