Lord Fraser of Corriegarth
Lord Fraser of Corriegarth, who has died aged 74, was a former investment banker and Conservative Party treasurer who made a vital contribution to the triumph of the “Better Together” campaign in the 2014 Scottish independence referendum as the second largest donor.

Chinas plan to grab power has been clever and unprecedented, seeking victory without firing a shot, reducing its targets to mere frogs in a boiling pot.
Pundits and politicians alike, when excusing their strategic dealings with China, are quick to remind their audiences that todays China is a centuries old civilization rich in tradition and ancient religious discipline. A Confucian civilization that is still upset over wrongdoings during the European colonization period.
