LABUAN: A housewife here who bought a semi-detached house and thought it would be a dream home for the family in the retiring years is now losing sleep whenever it rains heavily.
Madam Leong family brought the expensive unit at Taman Perdana also known as Taman Datuk Fadzil Ahmad about three years ago.
For the first three years there was no problems but this week following torrential rain, water gushed into the ground floor of the house. She was not sure what had caused the overflow but it couldn’t be due to earthworks in progress at the end of the row of house. “Not all the houses in the estate were affected but our row was badly affected,” she said.
