An investor group led by real estate developer and salon owner Dino Palmieri has purchased a soon-to-be-vacant Solon office building in a bet that the pandemic and a shift to remote work won t dampen demand for relatively modern suburban space.
Palmieri confirmed that he paid underneath $2 million this week for Solon Marquis, a roughly 46,000-square-foot building at Solon and Aurora roads. Built in 2000 and leased to an accounting firm for two decades, the property last changed hands in early 2007 for $7.3 million.
