Solano County Genealogical Society announces 40th anniversary event

Solano County Genealogical Society announces 40th anniversary event Pena Adobe Historical Society docents will share their family histories and paths to the Pena Adobe. The California historical landmark No. 534 is located in what is now Pena Adobe Park in Lagoon Valley in Vacaville. It was built in 1842 by pioneer Juan Felipe Pena, one of Solano County’s first settlers. The virtual presentation begins 10 a.m. April 24. Guests are welcome to attend this free event. If interested, send an email to the society at [email protected] no later than 4 p.m. April 23, and request an invitation.
