In a case of cheating not only innocent citizens but also the government, Samarth police have booked a city-based developer for allegedly adding fictitious beneficiaries in an under-construction slum rehabilitation project in Nana Peth.
The developer allegedly submitted forged documents to the
Slum Rehabilitation Authority (SRA) and obtained sanctions for the construction. This revelation came after
Somwar Peth resident Zakir Sayyad (40) filed a complaint with the court after being cheated by the developer.
