Readers have expressed their concern and outrage, following reports of a teenager being attacked by a group of boys at Hammonds Pond, Carlisle. Cumbria Police confirmed they had received reports that a 13-year-old boy had been the subject of an attack from three boys of a similar age earlier this week. The news came just weeks after another attack in the same park. And now News & Star readers have had their say. Natalie Bulman said: “Never mind park wardens, they just need police by the sounds of it!” Chris Clark added: “What is going on with Hammonds Pond with amount of attacks taking place? Needs on site park wardens as well as police!”
