It was really sad, said Candice Cole, the wedding and event coordinator for Paradise Acres. Since late 2018, the business has been operating out of a century-old barn on the property. Over that time, before the COVID-19 pandemic, the company was thriving, but that came to a screeching halt last spring and summer.

Jamaica s World Under-20 sprint double gold medallist Briana Williams on Thursday visited Prime Minister Andrew Holness at the Office of the Prime Minister.
During the visit, the 18-year-old who is based in the United States presented printers to Holness for distributing to schools as Jamaica continues to navigate remote learning during the pandemic.
This represents another in a series of philanthropic efforts by the athlete, who recently donated tablets to student-athletes and a printing system to the Jamaica Cancer Society. Williams also handed gifts to over 100 children in the community of Paradise Acres in Norwood, Montego Bay in December.
