New Delhi: The grave of 1947-48 India-Pakistan war hero Brigadier Mohammed Usman here has been restored by the Indian Army. The grave has been restored days after pictures of a damaged tomb had surfaced, triggering calls for an urgent restoration of the final resting place of the Indian war hero.
Brig Usman’s grave is located at the Jamia cemetery in New Delhi. After the grave was found in a damaged state, the Army has come out to say that it was capable of taking care of the national hero s final resting place if the authorities could not.
