Kolkata, Dec 30 : Wednesday was a day full of activity at the iconic Eden Gardens here. While the Bengal players are preparing for the T20 Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, the annual general body meeting of the Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) was held at the stadium and later in the evening Indian cricket board president Sourav Ganguly visited it and discussed the preparations for the T20 tournament starting on January 10.
The 89th AGM was held at B.C. Roy Club House at Eden Gardens from 4 pm to 5.45 pm.

A day ahead of the preparatory camp for the city team for the Syed Mustaq Ali Trophy, pacer Shrestha Nirmohi and batsman Raman Bishnoi have been found Covid positive. However, both players are asymptomatic.

Kolkata, Dec 21 : Former India captain Mohammed Azharuddin, now president of the Hyderabad Cricket Association, discussed issues related to the upcoming Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy T20 tournament beginning on January 10 in six cities simultaneously.
Hyderabad will play their league matches of group Elite B in Kolkata, against hosts Bengal, Odisha, Jharkhand, Tamil Nadu, and Assam. Azharuddin visited Eden Gardens ahead of Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy, and discussed logistical issues and bio-bubble norms with Cricket Association of Bengal (CAB) president, Avishek Dalmiya, said a CAB statement.
