A 14-year-old killed in a crash in Pāpāmoa has been remembered as a well-liked, ambitious young man.
An avid sportsman, Hugo was as comfortable on the cricket pitch and rugby field as he was rowing on the lake.

TUSCUMBIA, Ala. (WAFF) - A Tuscumbia man has died following a car crash Tuesday night.
According to Colbert County Coroner Justin Gasque, Mark Nix, 51, was riding his bicycle on Highway 72 in Tuscumbia when he was hit by a car.
The crash happened late Tuesday night near the Fuel City Station.
Investigators believe the impact of the vehicle caused blunt force trauma resulting in Nix’s death.
