Outdoor dining to continue

Selectmen voted last week to let outdoor dining continue through Dec. 1 even though the governor’s emergency order that originally enabled it has expired.
Last May, in response to state pandemic guidelines that allowed restaurants to offer outdoor dining, a permitting process was instituted in the town, administered by John Eastman, Conway Parks and Recreation director.
At a meeting in March, selectmen decided to give restaurants the option to continue outdoor dining if they refiled for another permit.

I have been visiting Conway several times a year for over 20 years now. It started with just me and my husband so we stayed at local hotels. As our family grew we found that hotels were just not enough so we began renting houses.
Going to Conway is so many things to us, we ski in the winter, go tubing and hiking in the summer and enjoy the beautiful view in the fall. We love visiting all the local shop (Sherman Farms, Zebâs, the Penguin store and of course the outlets) There are so many wonderful restaurants we visit every trip (Delaneyâs, The Moat and, of course, the Muddy Moose)

PELICAN RAPIDS, Minn. I stopped into my favorite lakes country town this week to get an earful about the Minnesota fishing opener. The hook, if you will, was easy: One year after slogging through an opener dominated by COVID-19 pandemic restrictions and closures, will this opener be back to normal?
