âThe community wants quarry truck access reviewed and this road upgraded to a higher standard to improve safety and better accommodate the types of vehicles using it.â
Save Noosa Hinterland group spokeswoman Judy Scrase has thanked all the locals who supported a campaign to have the road placed at the top of the RACQ blacklist and send a message to quarry operator Cordwells Resources. Crumbling road edges have have helped Kin Kin Pomona Rd win the RACQ s worst road tag.
âWeâve moved from 10th position in the 2010 RACQ survey to number one in 2020,â Ms Scrase said.
