CLARKSVILLE, TN – This year, Special Olympics Tennessee is completing a statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run carrying the Flame of Hope across the state. Their goal is to have the entire state completed by end of July 2021. Retired Chief Joe Casey, Metro Nashville Police Department, has been a longtime supporter of Special Olympics and instrumental in bringing the Law Enforcement Torch Run into a global movement. To honor his commitment, they are hosting a Statewide Law Enforcement Torch Run in 2021. They are running the Flame of Hope across Tennessee with a goal of completing the entire state by the end of July.
