A man has been charged with second-degree murder in connection to the homicide of a 25-year-old man on Saddle Lake Cree Nation.
Just after 9 a.m. on June 7, St. Paul RCMP responded to a report of a gunshot heard at a home on the nation, and a vehicle fleeing. The person who reported the gunshot went out and found an injured man in the driveway.

Francis Primeau, of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, was pronounced dead at the scene.
On June 25, RCMP charged Charlton Dwight Gladue, 34, of Saddle Lake Cree Nation, with second-degree murder. Gladue was remanded into custody and will appear in St. Paul provincial court on July 8.
