Jeffery Lemor Wheat was arrested in Arkansas last week for an alleged sexual assault in Texas ten years ago.
In 2011, a series of rapes were reported in the Dallas area and the rapist appeared to be targeting members of the Black sorority, Delta Sigma Theta. The victims all of whom were in their fifties and sixties during the attacks had no relationship with the rapist, but he seemed to know their names.
At the time, leadership warned sorority members to stop wearing sorority T-shirts, attending meetings, and remove sorority decals from their cars and offices.

Police in Plano, Texas have arrested a man in connection with a 10-year-old sexual assault case. According to
ABC affiliate, the arrest could lead to further answers in a series of rape cases which targeted Black alums of Delta Sigma Theta.
Jefferey Lemor Wheat, 48, was arrested in Crawford County, Arkansas on a felony warrant and was later picked up by Arkansas police before being transferred back to Texas where he is currently held on a $500,000 bond at Collin County Detention Center.
