Bill Kelly’s ‘Make Smiles’ project is not only spreading joy across the town, but its ripples are being felt around the world, as his little videos encourage others to do the same. ‘This all started only a few weeks ago on Valentine’s Day, when I just thought, wouldn’t it be great just to put a smile on someone’s face while we’re all going through tough times,’ says Bill, who hails originally from Marian Park. ‘I just posted a short video while I was out for a run, encouraging anyone I know to get up and get out, and enjoy some fresh air if they can, and then send me in a picture of what they’re doing, and maybe make someone smile.’
