Appalachian Regional Healthcare System Gives 600 Vaccinations Tuesday
The Watauga Democrat reports Watauga Medical Center began vaccinations of staff December 22.
App Regional received 600 does of the Moderna vaccine initially, and received 400 more on Monday.
According to the report, the vaccines are for staff at all ARHS locations.
Appalachian Regional has more than 1400 employees. Employees have been grouped in to high and low risk categories and pre-loaded into the state s COVID-19 Vaccine Management System, to ensure frontline workers receive the vaccine quickly.
