A teenager was rushed to hospital with a serious arm injury after being hit by a driver who fled the scene. Emergency services were called to the junction of Hatton Hill Road and Sefton Road in Litherland at around 1pm on Saturday April 24, after reports of a crash involving a car and a fifteen-year-old boy.

Michael Ward, of Sefton Road, Surrey, has been slapped with a fine after pleading guilty to two shoplifting offences. The 19-year-old stole £2,000 worth of ink cartridges from Sainsbury’s in High Wycombe in September 2020. And on the same day in September last year, the Surrey man stole another £1,000 worth of ink cartridges from Tesco in Newbury. He appeared at Reading Magistrates Court earlier this month (Tuesday, April 6) after being charged with two counts of theft.
A total of thirteen people appeared for sentencing at Mold Crown Court on Wednesday.
They were:
