The board agreed to raise the per-meeting rate for board members from $30 to $40. Pay will remain at $10 per committee meeting. The board’s president, secretary and treasurer will receive an additional $150 annually.
Board members approved a state aid operating loan resolution in an amount not to exceed $500,000.
The board OK’d a contract with the district’s aides. The contract includes a 2 percent raise, a step increase and a one-time $500 stipend.
Board members approved renewed Thrun Law Firm and Clark Hill PLC of Grand Rapids as the district’s attorneys of record for the 2021-22 school year; appointed Yeo & Yeo to conduct audit services; and retained Tower Pinkster of Kalamazoo as the district’s architect of record.
