Police to file additional evidence in Christine Dacera case on Jan 27

By ANNA FELICIA BAJO, GMA News Published January 26, 2021 2:54pm Police are set to file additional pieces of evidence on Wednesday, January 27, regarding the case of flight attendant Christine Dacera, who was found unconscious in a hotel room in Makati City on New Year s Day. Tomorrow is 27. We will be submitting all available evidence. Sana lang ma-appreciate ng fiscal for finally filing the information against the suspects. Pero kung wala naman, definitely the case will be dismissed, National Capital Region Police Office chief Major General Vicente Danao Jr. told reporters on Tuesday.  Danao refused to provide details as to the strongest evidence they are holding against those allegedly involved in the death of Dacera. 

Bato: NBI to remain as nat l clearing house despite proposal to improve police clearance system

This, after NBI Deputy Director Ferdinand Lavin expressed opposition to some provisions of Senate Bill No. 1581, which was filed by Dela Rosa. We are mandated by both laws to act as the national clearing house of criminal records, Lavin, said during a Senate hearing on the proposed measure, citing laws that established the NBI. If this is only to integrate the local databases of police clearance system, then we have no issue with that, he added.

Sen Bato tells PNP to speed up procurement of body cams

Senate welcomes DND s move to hold a dialogue with UP
