Five accused persons arrested in connection with BJP worker Rinku Sharma s murder case.
A 25-year-old man was stabbed to death allegedly by his neighbours in Delhi s Mangolpuri area following a heated argument and scuffle at a birthday party. The victim, Rinku Sharma, an activist of BJP s Yuva Morcha and Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), succumbed to injuries during treatment.
A case of murder has been registered by Mangolpuri Police and five people have been arrested in connection with Rinku Sharma s murder case. Four people Nasruddin, Islam, Zahid and Mehtab were arrested earlier, S Dhama, Additional DCP, Outer District, Delhi Police said. The fifth arrested person has been identified as Tasuddin.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee on Saturday refused to speak at the event to mark the 125th birth anniversary of Subhash Chandra Bose in Kolkata in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying she felt insulted by the slogans.

Kolkata, Jan 24: The VHP leadership on Sunday came down heavily on West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee for not delivering her speech at the main Parakram Diwas celebration here after Jai Shri Ram slogans greeted her, saying it reflects her anti-Hindu mindset and efforts to appease a particular community.
A visibly agitated Banerjee, who was called to deliver her speech at the Netaji birth anniversary ceremony at Victoria Memorial on Saturday, had fumed over the insult and said, it was a government programme and not a political event. What Mamata Banerjee did yesterday reflects her anti-Hindu mindset and her efforts towards appeasement politics. Lord Ram is soul of the country. Why does she get angry with Jai Shri Ram slogans? We fail to understand, international joint general secretary of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Surendra Jain told PTI.
