SGCCI to honour startup founders and farmers | Surat News

Surat: Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) will felicitate startup founders and farmers of the region. “The special award function will be held on Wednesday at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre at Sarsana. Farmers will be given the ‘Dharti Putra’ awards while young businessmen will be conferred with different category’s of ‘startup’ award,” Dinesh Navadia, president, SGCCI, said in a statement. “Farmers play an important role in the country’s economy and we want to acknowledge their contribution by giving awards to them,” he said. “In the ‘startup’ category different awards like startup of the year, women startup founder of the year, student startup, startup investor of the year, and best food-tech startup of the year among others will be given,” Navadia added.

SGCCI to felicitate CAs, doctors today | Surat News

Surat: South Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) will felicitate Chartered Accountants (CAs) and doctors on Sunday at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre in Sarsana here in the city. “The function will be held at Platinum fall and Covid-19 guidelines will be followed. The Chartered Accountants will be felicitated between 11 and 1 pm on Sunday and doctors will be felicitated between 2 to 4 pm,” Dinesh Navadia, President SGCCI said. “CAs practicing in private sector, government sector, charitable trusts, retired, sports or any other field will be considered for the felicitation. SGCCI will felicitate CAs in different categories like private practice, social work, and sports among others. We will also honour doctors who have played an important role in serving the patients. We will also felicitate doctors from all sectors private, trusts, government and semi-government for this special occasion,” Navadia added.

SGCCI golden jubilee event on March 13 | Surat News

Surat: The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry (SGCCI) will hold its golden jubilee award function on March 13 at the Surat International Exhibition and Convention Centre at Sarsana in which, the CEO of ArcelorMittal Nippon Steel India Ltd, Dilip Oomnen will be the chief guest. Established in 1990, the SGCCI Golden Jubilee Memorial Trust gives away awards every year in various categories including outstanding business persons, pollution control research and development, energy efficiency among others. After Covid-19, first synthetic diamond to be promoted across India in Sparkle by SGCCI

Surat (Gujarat) [India], February 5 (ANI/PNN): The Natural and Synthetic Diamond Manufacturing Segment, Machinery Manufacturing Segment and Diamond Jewellery Manufacturing Segment will be integrated on a single platform. The Southern Gujarat Chamber of Commerce and Industry has organized a grand Sparkle-21 Gems and Jewellery Exhibition at Surat International Exhibition and Convention Center, Sarsana from February 20 to 21. The Chamber has been holding exhibitions on a B-to-B basis for the past three years and the same format and approach will be continued this year too.
