Jinder Mahal appeared on Raw tonight with a new group that debuted last week on Main Event.
Mahal defeated Jeff Hardy in his first match on Raw in nearly a year, pinning Jeff Hardy clean with the Khallas. Mahal introduced two new associates, Veer (Rinku Singh, formerly one half of Indus Sher) and Shanky (Dilsher Shanky) prior to the match. The group previously made their debut as an act last week on Main Event, where Mahal also defeated Hardy.
Jinder Mahal’s career has been wrought with knee injuries since 2019. After returning from knee surgery in 2020, he underwent a second knee surgery almost immediately after, keeping him out of action for the rest of the year. He made his return at Superstar Spectacle in January, teaming with The Bollywood Boyz in a losing effort against Drew McIntyre and Indus Sher.

Raw, and last night (May 10) it happened.
The Modern Day Maharajah showed up with upgraded muscle in the former of Veer and Shanky, who were known in NXT and at January’s
Superstar Spectacle event as Indus Sher. Not that he needed them to beat Jeff Hardy.
If that wasn’t enough for Jinder to announce his presence with authority, he and the fellas were Kevin Patrick & R-Truth’s guests on
Raw Talk. There, former WWE and United States champion made it clear he’s got big goals for himself now that he’s finally back on television.

The Modern Day Maharaja defeated Jeff Hardy in his return match.
Mahal is now coming out with two new partners. It was reported after Monday’s WWE Main Event tapings that Jinder came out with both members of Indus Sher from WWE NXT, but that is not the case. Former MLB star Rinku Singh did come out with Jinder, but he is now being called Veer. The other man with Jinder is Dilsher Shanky. He is now being called just Shanky.

Former WWE Champion Jinder Mahal and WWE NXT Superstars Indus Sher have returned to action.
Monday’s pre-RAW WWE Main Event tapings saw Jinder face Jeff Hardy in action. The Indus Sher tag team, made up of Saurav Gurjar and Rinku Singh, were with Jinder.
This is the first time we’ve seen Mahal since the WWE Superstar Spectacle event that was taped during late January in Florida for the India market. The six-man main event of that show saw Drew McIntyre and Indus Sher defeat Jinder and The Bollywood Boyz.
Superstar Spectacle marked Jinder’s first match since suffering a knee injury in May 2020. He has not wrestled since the Superstar Spectacle taping. This is also the first time we’ve seen Indus Sher since the Superstar Spectacle taping, but it looks like they’re back to being heels now.
